The Cast Of DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow

DC All-Access hostess Tiffany Smith talked with the cast of the upcoming DC’s Legends of Tomorrow prior to the release of the teaser video. Dominic Purcell and Wentworth MIller talked about the interaction between the villains Heatwave and Captain Cold. Caity Lotz on her return as the White Canary. Brandon Routh on Ray Palmer’s role on the team. Victor Garber said that Dr. Stein’s other half would be around… but didn’t mention Robbie Amell by name. Ciara Renee spoke on joining the DC / CW Universe and Franz Drameh seemed to be reading from prepared lines…

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow will debut in the 2015/2016 television season.

Peter Capaldi To Make Comic-Con Debut

Peter Capaldi has settled into the role as the 12th Doctor having already grappled with the Daleks, Cybermen and the Master… but the one thing he hasn’t faced yet is the vast expanse of Hall H and the demanding crowds of Comic-Con International… until now.

According to Deadline, Capaldi will be making his first appearance at the Doctor Who panel on July 9th and as a life-long Doctor Who fan, he is quite aware of how imposing that could be:

Tales of San Diego Comic-Con are told in awe on every set around the known fantasy/sci-fi production world. It’s become a fabled kingdom, one I am thrilled to find myself heading for. And to appear in the legendary Hall H is a further twist to the cosplay and comic madness I may never recover from.

Along with Capaldi on the panel will be his co-star Jenna Coleman, the new Master Michelle Gomez and executive producers Steven Moffat and Brian Minchin.

Fans of the show may want to go ahead and start lining up for Hall H now.

The First Five Minute Of The Whispers

If you like creepy stories about children’s imaginary friends turning out to be real and evil… then you might want to check out ABC’s The Whispers. Their description for the show says:

We love to play games with our children. But what happens when someone else starts to play with them too? Someone we don’t know. Can’t see. Can’t hear. In The Whispers, someone — or something — is manipulating the ones we love most to accomplish the unthinkable.

It stars Lily Rabe, Barry Sloane, Milo Ventimiglia, Derek Webster, Kristen Connolly, Kylie Rogers and Kyle Harrison Breitkopf. Here are the first five minutes from the pilot.

“No More Arrow Suit, I’ve Worn It For The Last Time” – Stephen Amell Talks Season Finale

So Stephen Amell was stopped by Kristin Dos Santos of E! Online to talk about the season finale of Arrow, what he knows about season four and his upcoming turn as Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. And the take away from the interview is that the Arrow is done and he’s never wearing that suit again… which likely means that when he comes back he will have a new suit and probably new new name… something more colorful probably.

Though it doesn’t seem like it from the driving off into the sunset ending… Arrow will return for a fourth season this fall. Or will it have a new name too?

Arrow / Flash Crossover To Become Annual Event

fla108b-0195b-c-113176At the Upfronts today, CW president Mark Pedowitz announced that the Arrow / Flash crossover was so successful they plan on making that an annual fourth-quarter event. But with a third series being added to the mix, it’s possible the network could add DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to the event and making it a CW Justice League story. I mean: Green Arrow, The Flash, Black Canary, Hawkgirl, Firestorm, The Atom… that’s a pretty good mix.
