After previously revealing release dates of their upcoming movies, Warner Bros. has now said exactly what movies will be filling those slots.
Yesterday, studio head Kevin Tsujihara announced a slate of 10 superhero movies set in the same universe with the goal of franchise crossover. He also laid out plans for two other properties: Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and the Lego Movie universe.
On the superhero side of things, here are the 10 announced films:
- Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice –2016
- Suicide Squad – 2016
- Wonder Woman – 2017
- Justice League Part One – 2017
- The Flash – 2018
- Aquaman – 2018
- Shazam – 2019

A few casting revelations were made as well. Everyone knows Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot will star in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, respectively, but a few more members of the Justice League were finally named. Ezra Miller will play The Flash, Ray Fisher will play Cyborg, and Jason Momoa was at last confirmed as Aquaman.
It was also announced Warner Bros. is working on two more D.C. movies – another solo Superman movie and a standalone movie for Ben Affleck’s Batman.
In other news, it was confirmed Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be at least a trilogy. The first had previously been set for release on Nov. 18, 2016, and the next two will come out in 2018 and 2020, with the possibility of more to come.
Additionally, The Lego Movie 2 will now come out in 2018, bumped up from its original May 26, 2017, release date. The Lego spinoff Ninjago will hit theaters in Sept. 2016, and for those who just don’t have enough Batman in their lives, Lego Batman will be released in 2017.
